| Q: Is the FHAA a membership organization? A: At this point in time, we are not soliciting for membership. Our organization is formed to present quality annual local studio tours and donate proceeds to local charitable organizations. Q: How is FHAA different from other local artistic organizations? A: We are different in that we are offering an artist's studio tour just for Fountain Hills artists which hasn't been done up until now. We are NON-PROFIT. Q: How is my donation being used? A: All cash donations are very much appreciated and will go directly to the Fountain Hills Unified School District art program. We are NON-PROFIT. Q: How will my art auction bid be used? A: 80% of the winning art auction bid goes directly to the Fountain Hills School District art program. 20% of the winning bid will go to the artist who so generously donated their wonderful work of art for this event. (This helps ensure we receive quality works of art and helps the artist defer his cost in producing.) Q: Is my donation tax deductible? A:Your cash donation to FHAA is tax deductible. However, check with your tax advisor to see if your winning bid is tax deductible. Q: Are there any other events planned besides the Studio Tour? A: We are constantly thinking up new ideas to promote our artists. One event in consideration is an "Art-For-Art" day. One or several artists who are willing to donate time will be available for a fun day with local youth to share their artistic methods via a hands-on experience. |
